While the activities available at Aspen, Snowmass and the surrounding areas are too numerous to take in on a single trip, it's always fun to try! In addition to year-round on-mountain activity, you can always take in the international culture through shopping and dining, feel the thrill of the rivers, tour the local breweries, take a backcountry ride, or just get outside and take a family photo from the perfect spot. Maroon Bells

Known for its incredible scenic beauty, the Maroon Bells are one of North America’s most photographed mountains. They are located 10 miles from Aspen up Maroon Creek Road and are a sight that should not be missed. During the summer it is possible to arrive at the site via public bus. Meanwhile, during winter the only way to travel up to the mountains is by cross country ski or a snowmobile.

Neshama Center

The Neshama Center is a nonprofit organization which offers Jewish education and services to the residents of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. The goal of the center is to bring Jewish traditions and life cycle celebrations to the community in a way that enriches it spiritually and intellectually. There are classes offered through the center as well as events including different Jewish holidays.

The Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association is dedicated to creating and sustain the best possible mountain bike trail system in the Roaring Fork Valley. Under RFMBA, there are many trails that are available for mountain biking and the goal is to continue to create more while maintaining the current ones. Rock and Roll Academy Aspen

The idea of Rock and Roll Academy started in 2003 as a place for students to learn and appreciate music on their own terms and play the music that they enjoyed with their friends in a creative and collaborative experience in which they decided the direction of the project. Since then, the academy has offered education to students and allowed them to interact with other students while learning the music they love most.

Snowmass Chapel & Community Center

The Snowmass Chapel and Community Center is a place where long time locals, seasonal residents, and one time visitors can gather for Sunday worship services and special events. A non-denominational congregation, the Chapel welcomes a vast array of Christian traditions which make this location all the more special. Services are at 9am Sundays.

At the Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Center, discover what life was like thousands upon thousands of years ago. Here you can touch a mastodon and mammoth teeth and gaze upon a half sized 6 foot Columbian Mammoth skeleton. There are fossils housed as well as creative displays and educational panels with interactive programming to get the most of the learning experience.

T Lazy 7 Snowmobiles

T-Lazy-7 is not only a well-known ranch in the area but also offers premier snowmobile tours also. Go out into the frozen and wintery landscape with knowledgeable guides who will share interesting history of the area along with multiple snowy sights. There are lunch tours that offer a chance for a ride and a meal. There is no experience necessary for most tours and even kids can come along as passengers depending on their age.
