Aspen/Snowmass receives more than 300 inches of snow every winter!  As a result visitors to this beautiful area experience some of the best AND MOST CONSISTENT snow conditions in the world.  What makes Aspen/Snowmass so special is the consistent early season snow - with steady modest snowfalls throughout the season.  You can expect frequent 4-8 inch snowfalls - with occasional larger "dumps".  And one of the hallmarks of skiing in the central Colorado Rockies - is the frequent "blue bird" days  of sunshine following overnight snowfalls.
