Camp Aspen Snowmass

Operating from June 8 – September 4, Camp Aspen Snowmass offers kids a way to explore some of the area’s mountain activities. Kids will spend a day with their peers and the staff in age appropriate activities designed to provide a challenging but fun filled summer adventure. There is also other programs like the Overnight Campout that allow kids and their family to enjoy a night at the camp together.

Challenge Aspen

Challenge Aspen is an adaptive ski program that allows those with physical or mental challenges to enjoy the freedom of recreational sports like downhill and cross country skiing. They offer winter skier and rider services on four skiing/snowboarding areas within the Roaring Fork Valley. It doesn’t stop there however as they offer events like summer camps, winter camps, and an annual marathon.

Christ Episcopal Church of Aspen

Cozy Point Ranch

Cozy Point Ranch is one of Aspen’s last year round working ranches and only public equestrian center. Anyone who is looking for an experienced caring environment to board their horse, in need of a first riding lesson, or a summer camp experience should look no further than Cozy Point Ranch. During the winter there is cross country skiing and skijoring. During the summer you can find gardening workshops and a program called The Sustainable Farmyard Education Project that is perfect for kids.

Krabloonik Dog Sled Ride

Krabloonik Dog Sled Ride offers over an hour of an exciting journey through an unbelievable Snowmass backcountry. Each sled is pulled by 8-10 Alaskan Husky sled dogs and is led by an experienced musher. The sled can carry two adults and even a small child. These rides are offered with a gourmet lunch or dinner at the Krabloonik Restaurant.

Lewis Ice Arena

Lewis Ice Arena is located up the hill on Maroon Creek Road within the Aspen Rec Center. The Arena itself is an official NHL size which means there is plenty of space for activities like hockey and ice skating. There are locker and skate rentals available for those looking to public skate. During summer, skaters can expect events like Adult Skate Week and 5 hockey camps.
